All summer long, we'd dance together, cheek to cheek; All summer long, I'd leave you late - you 'd leave me weak; All summer long, the sun it chased away the rain, But now it's autumn, and we 're strangers once again.
All summer long, we'd walk together, hand in hand; Beside the sea, we left our footprints in the sand; But now the winds of time have blown away every trace - That wind is rising, and we 're strangers once again.
I don't know how, I don't know why Each shy 'Hullo ' became 'Goodbye '; I didn't see, I can't say when the moment came that made us Strangers once again.
Je n'sais pas bien, je comprends pas Ce qui a pu nous séparer; Et je n'ai pas vu arriver Ce qui a r'fait de nous des étrangers.
You go on vacation. You meet the love of your life. You return
home. And arrange to meet up. But somehow, away from the beach
and the rolling surf, the glinting, lilting moonlight, the
magic's gone. And you realise that you've just become
'Strangers Once Again'. Fabulous guitar solo by Jean-Paul
Piquard.
Don't need no imagination to see the flesh inside the dress And get the inclination to help a damsel in distress; Come on, Rapunzel, come on, let down your hair From your tower full of loving, come on, help me get up there !
Come on, Rapunzel, come on, let down your hair Come on, Rapunzel, come on, let down your hair Got a tower of love, you know you really want me there !
I got the itch for you baby, you know it won't leave me alone I got the itch for you baby, it ain't gonna leave me alone But you seem so far up there in your tower of stone.
Come on, Rapunzel, come on, let down your hair ... etc.
Now, Shrek & Fiona, they're both good friends of mine You know, Shrek & Fiona, they're really good friends of mine If you let them up too, we could all four have a good time !
Come on, Rapunzel, come on, let down your hair ... etc.
Now the joint is jumping, the party's gonna last all night Now the joint is jumping, the party's gonna last all night If it gets any hotter, I believe we're gonna melt Snow White !

Now you know Cinderella, she's always singing the blues Yes, Cinderella, she's always singing the blues No surprise - the prince sold her dancing shoes.
I blow my dreams like bubbles over cobblestones, And watch them float and gently drift into the jaws of the unkown; And when they burst, and fall to dust, I calmly do as dreamers must: I reach into the distance and blow another dream.
I reach into the distance and blow another dream; And when it bursts, and falls to dust I calmly do as dreamers must: I watch it float and gently drift into the jaws of the unkown; I blow my dreams like bubbles over cobblestones.
A dream is like a bubble: you can look, but you can't touch; And yet, in times of trouble, I love so very much ...
To blow my dreams like bubbles over cobblestones, And watch them float and gently drift into the jaws of the unknown; And when they burst, and fall to dust, I calmly do as dreamers must: I reach into the distance and blow another dream.
I was inspired to write this jazz piece by reading Don
Marquis's comment :
'Publishing a volume of verse is like dropping a rose-petal
down the Grand
Canyon and waiting for the echo'. Dreams are like bubbles,
blown over
cobblestones. With Albert Casas's inventive tenor sax.
I may be lonely, but I'm never alone, I keep your photo in my cell-phone Got your podcast in my ears, even when I'm on the move, Don't need no souped-up flat-top, I've got my laptop- I got all I need to google to you
To go walking the web, walking the web That's where you can find me, here in cyber-space, where every place is just a click away ...
Time is coming, not so far away, be a BlackBerry implant in every brain No more need for mail or text, We'll simply stream our thoughts broadband; From talk-ing while walk-ing, we'll be blogg-ing while jogg-ing - See you see me - see BlackBerry jam!
When we're walking the web, walking the web ...etc.
Time was, in another age, travelling was all the rage Had to climb the mountain to see the view, cross a country to view the sea; But I've been virtually everywhere, never had to leave my rocking chair Didn't have no wear or tear, with my laptop on my lap:
I went walking the web, walking the web ...etc.
So I may be lonely, but I'm never alone, I keep your photo in my cell-phone, I got your podcast in my ears, even when I'm on the move, I don't need no souped-up flat-top, I've got my laptop- I got all I need to google to you, I got everything I need to google to you.
When I was a kid, I always dreamed of having a third eye, with which to record the
highlights of each day for subsequent playback. Now we all carry one in our pocket
- it's called a cell-phone. And what's more, we can use it to walk the web as we
move through our day.
You put your perfume on the letter The letter that you sent; Saying that we were finished, That your love for me was spent. I smelt the perfume on that letter; I swear it knocked me flying. If I didn't know any better, I'd say even the mailman was crying.
Don't leave me now, don't leave me You know I won't survive Every single thing I see I see only through your eyes; Don't leave me now, don't leave me Don't leave me without a sign Whether all those things you said and did Were the fruit of chance or of design.
